Description

Sicily, Messana Bronze circa 317-311, Æ 23mm., 9.47g. Head of the nymph Messana l., thin band in hair, wrapped twice, wearing a pearl necklace. Rev. Biga of mules standing right, driven by Messana holding a long palm in her right hand, reins in left; in exergue, ∆. Caltabiano 798. Calciati 18. SNG ANS 385.

Nice brown-green patina, Very Fine-Good Very Fine.
