Egypt, Alexandria. German. Severus Alexander, 222-235 Tetradrachm circa 225-226 (year 5), billon 26.4mm., 10.64g. Laureate, draped and cuirassed bust r. Rev. L ΠЄΜΠΤΟΥ Draped bust of Sarapis r., wearing calthus. Geissen -. RPC Online 10331. Dattari 4348.
Extremely rare, only four specimens listed in RPC and only one in private hands, nice dark brown-green patina, well centred and struck, Very Fine.
