Description

Egypt, Alexandria. Dattari. Trajan, 98-117 Drachm circa 110-111 (year 14), Æ 33mm., 23.26g. Laureate and draped bust r. Rev. Sarapis standing facing; to l., Apollo (?) standing r., raising hand over head; to l., lighted altar; to r., Heracles standing, l., raising arm and holding club and lion-skin; in exergue, LIΔ. RPC 4539.2 (this coin illustrated). Dattari-Savio Pl. 50, 1032 (this coin). Dattari 1032 and Pl. XXIII (this rev. Illustrated).

Extremely rare, only three specimens listed in RPC, attractive brown tone, Good Fine/About Very Fine.
