Lucania, Metapontum Nomos circa 330-290, AR 21mm., 7.88g. Head of Demeter r., wearing grain wreath and triple-pendant earring; below chin, ΔAI. Rev. Barley-ear with leaf r., above in r. field, plough and below M[AX]. Johnston Class C, 1.37. Historia Numorum Italy 1581.

Lightly toned, traces of restriking on rev., Good Very Fine.
