Description

Lydia, Tralles Antoninus Pius, 138-161 Bronze circa 139-144, Æ 33.5mm., 25.97g. Laureate, draped and cuirassed bust r. Rev. veiled Io seated in hooded chariot with two wheels drawn by two hump-backed bulls, r.; behind, nude Hermes advancing, r., head, l., leading bulls. BMC 141. RPC Online 1593.

Very rare only three specimens listed in RPC of which two are in museums. Nice brown tone, Good Fine.
