Description

Heraclius, 610-641 Half-Follis Ravenna circa 630-631, Æ 16.5mm., 3.81g. Heraclius and Heraclius Constantine standing facing. Heraclius has a long beard and holds a long staff. He is trampling a prostate figure. Heraclius Constantine holds a globus cruciger. Both wear loros and crown with cross atop. Between them is a cross. Rx: Large K with ANNO to left and regnal year XXI to right. Above, cross. Below, officina Δ. Berk 629. MIB 261b. DOC 301. Sear 922.

Green patina, obv. Slightly off centre; otherwise Very Fine.
