Bound in later maroon half morocco with decorative boards and endpapers. Raised bands to the spine with a blue morocco title label, ruled and lettered in gilt, the top edge red. Extremities and joints lightly rubbed with some scuffs. Lightly foxed throughout, mostly affecting the plates and page edges. From the library of Count Papadopoli-Aldobrandini with his engraved armorial ex-libris on the front pastedown and library stamp on the title page. A very good, if not better copy of this useful guide to the medals of the Medici family held at the National Museum of Florence. Number 19 of only 50 copies printed and very rare thus.
