Description

Italy. Napoli. Cagiati, M. Le monete del reame delle due Sicilie da Carlo I d’Angio a Vittorio Emanuele II. Atlante-prezzario Parte I. (Zecca di Napoli). Napoli; Melfi & Joele, 1917. 4to., pp. (10), 135 plates of coins numbered 1–40, (4). Bound in contemporary half vellum and black cloth boards with the original wrappers preserved, the spine lettered in black with a small armorial library label on the front pastedown. A little shelfworn, the contents lightly browned but clean, the inner hinges weak but holding. One of only 100 copies, signed and stamped on the limitation page. Almost fine and very scarce.
