Rather crudely bound in later red quarter morocco and marbled boards with the original wrappers preserved, the spine lettered and decorated in gilt. Heavily rubbed and worn, particularly to the joints, the upper board loose, the backstrip chipped and mostly missing. The contents lightly browned as usual else internally very good. An important work, limited to an edition of just 100 copies, of which this one remains unnumbered, rare thus.
