Handsomely bound in red quarter morocco and marbled boards with the original wrappers preserved. Raised bands, the spine lettered in gilt, decorative endpapers. A trifle shelfworn with the original upper wrapper dusty, the contents otherwise clean with only a few small patches of very light foxing, the edges untrimmed. From the library of Henri Macqueron of Abbeville with his neatly engraved bookplate on the front pastedown, and library label in the upper corner of the recto of the upper wrapper. An attractive volume with an interesting provenance, very fine and seldom offered.
