London, 1923–1962. 8vo., pp. ccxxxi, (1), 464, 7, (1); cv, (3), 485, (1), 8; cxcvi, 640, 6; cc, 964, 6; cclxvi, 700, (6); viii, (2), 311, (1) pages; 504 fine plates. All seven volumes in the original red publisher’s cloth, gilt. A little bumped and slightly worn at the extremities, the contents clean. A fine set of the scarce original editions of this standard work with far superior plates to those in the reprints. Important and very seldom offered complete, rare thus. (7)
