[Ex: JIAN, tome deuxième, quatrième trimestre, 1899.] 8vo., pp. (7)–240, (2); 5 fine plates, the first two neatly annotated in black ink, with eleven plates of Tarentum coins taken from the Numismatic Chronicle, loosely inserted at the end. In contemporary brown quarter calf and red textured cloth boards, the upper cover gilt embossed with a label pasted on, marbled endpapers. Worn and rubbed, particularly to the spine, the upper cover detached. The first page inscribed with the author’s compliments. [With:] Rare or Unpublished Coins of Taras. London, 1907. Original printed wrappers. The upper cover chipped and detached. The first and last inscribed by the author to Jacob Hirsch.
