From the libraries of both Consul Eduard Friedrich Weber, with his attractively engraved bookplate on the front pastedown and library stamp on the first free endpaper (dated 1890), and Jacob Hirsch, with his discreet library label on the spine. Lightly rubbed, the spine ends thumbed but internally clean. A very good copy of this important and very rarely offered work, particularly attractive with such a distinguished pedigree.
