The portraits of the usurpator Eugenius represent him with a long full beard, not always well trimmed as on the two coins below. He also seems to have had a rather hooked nose. AMP. VIRTVS RO – MANORVM Roma seated l. on cuirass, holding Victory on globe and reversed spear; in exergue, TRPS. C 14. RIC 106d. Light iridescent tone and good very fine
