PONTIF MAX TR P – II S – C Macrinus in quadriga l., holding sceptre and branch, crowned by Victory who stands behind him; in exergue, COS II P P. C 107. BMC 134. RIC 162. Bernhart pl. 54, 170 (this coin). Very rare. Green patina somewhat smoothed, otherwise about extremely fine Ex Ars Classica sale XI, 1912, Levis, 770.
