Tetradrachm, Antiochia 205-207, AR 13.56 g. AYT KAI – ANTWNEINOC Laureate head r. Rev. DHMARC E X VPATO B Eagle, with wreath in its beak, standing facing with spread wings and head r., holding in its talons leg and thigh of sacrificed animal. Bellinger 6 and pl. I, 9. Prieur 202.
Extremely fine Exceptional tetradrachm of the adolescent Caracalla with sideburns and moustache. This coin proves that the provincial coins closely followed the portrait of the Roman mint. AMP.
