As, Lugdunum 77-78, Æ 11.08 g. T CAES IMP AVG F TR P COS VI CENSOR Laureate head r., globe at point of bust. Rev. PAX – AVG S – C Pax standing l., sacrificing with patera over altar and holding branch and caduceus. C 129. BMC Vespasian 860. RIC Vespasian 1261. CBN Vespasian 864.
A very unusual portrait and an untouched light green patina with some
minor breaks. Extremely fine / about extremely fine Coins with this portrait type are rare. They represent Titus at the time of his 6th consulate, shortly before he became Augustus. AMP.
