See McCabe Essays Hersh 2013 - the anonymous RRC 56/1 dupondii are overstruck on bronze asses in the style of the anchor series RRC 50; a second example is identified of the corn-ear and KA RRC 69/1 dupondius. Together these findings confirm these dupondii to be concurrent with the early sextantal bronze issues.
