Tetradrachm, Seleuceia ad Calycadnum circa 145-138, AR 30 mm, 16.83 g. Diademed head of Demetrius II r. Fillet border. Rev. [B]AΣΙΛΕΩΣ – ΔHMHTPIOY – ΘΕΟY – [N]IKATOPOΣ Athena standing l., holding Nike with wreath in r. hand and spear and shield in l.; in outer l. field, flower and in exergue, monograms. Very rare. Struck on a very broad flan and with a lovely old cabinet tone.
Several scratches on obverse, otherwise very fine
