Solidus, Constantinopolis 475-476, AV 4.44 g. Helmeted, pearl-diademed and cuirassed bust facing three- quarter r., holding spear and shield decorated with horseman and enemy motif. Rev. Victory standing l., holding a long jewelled cross; in field r., star. Depeyrot 105/2. RIC 1024.
Almost invisible graffito on obverse field, otherwise about extremely fine
