Tetradrachm, uncertain mint probably in northern Syria circa 142-138, AR 33 mm, 16.20 g. Diademed head r. Rev. ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ – ΤΡΥΦΩΝΟΣ / ΑΥΤΟΚΡΑΤΟΡΟΣ Ornate Macedonian helmet l., with spike on top and with a wild goat's horn over the visor; the whole within oak wreath. SC 2037. SMA 263. SNG Spaer 1822. CSE 255.

Rare. Old cabinet tone and struck on a large flan. Minor marks and an insignificant area of corrosion on obverse. A scuff on the edge at twelve o’clock on reverse, otherwise good very fine
