Tetradrachm struck under Seleucus I, Babylon circa 311-310, AR 29 mm, 17.13 g. Head of Heracles r., wearing lion skin headdress. Rev. BAΣIΛEΩΣ – ΑΛΕΞΑΝΔΡΟΥ Zeus seated l., holding eagle and sceptre; in l. field, monogram within wreath. Below throne, H. Price 3704. SC 82.6.

A lovely portrait struck in high relief and with a superb old cabinet tone. Graffito on reverse, otherwise extremely fine
