Solidus, Constantinopolis 380, AV 4.44 g. D N VALENTINIANVS P F AVG Pearl-diademed, draped and cuirassed bust r. Rev. CONCOR – DIA AVGGG Constantinopolis, turreted, head r., seated facing on throne, holding globe and sceptre; in exergue, CONOB. C –. Depeyrot 30 note. RIC –. Dürr and Bastien, SNR 63, 1984, p. 225, 92.
Extremely rare, apparently only the second specimen known.
Virtually as struck and almost Fdc
Ex Leu 72, 1998, 558; NAC 23, 1998, 558 and Nomos 1, 2009, 173 sales.
