Dinar, Balkh (?) circa 245-270, AV 7.65 g. Peroz nimbate, wearing Vasudeva II-style crown, flames at shoulders, standing left on ground line and sacrificing at altar and holding trident; to l., trident standard above altar; pellet to right of altar; between legs, pellet above swastika; triple pellets below l. arm; pi in Brahmi to r. of l. leg; tamgha to r. Rev. Siva standing facing, holding diadem and trident with O on shaft; behind, the bull Nandi standing l.; symbol below Siva's l. arm. Carter 29. Cribb 1 var.
