Stater circa 360, AV 8.43 g. Female head l., wearing laurel wreath, hair caught up in saccos. Rev. Forepart of Pegasus r. within incuse square. Baldwin, Lampsakos –. cf. M&M sale 53, 1977, 89 (these dies).
Of the highest rarity, apparently only three specimens known. An elegant portrait
of exquisite style struck on a very large flan. Almost invisible marks
on reverse, otherwise extremely fine
