Stater 39-40 (year 336), AV 7.86 g. Head of Gaius r. Rev. BACIΛE ΩC MIΘPI ΔATOV• Nike advancing l., holding wreath and palm frond; in field, ς ΛΤ (date). Frolova dies A-a. MacDonald 308. Jameson 2148 (this coin). Anokhin 327. RPC 1908.
Extremely rare, by far the finest of only five specimens known. A very interesting
portrait struck on a large flan, a minor edge mark at nine o'clock on reverse,
otherwise extremely fine / good extremely fine
