Idalium, Stasikypros, 460-445. Diobol circa 460-445 BC, AR 1.57 g. Head of Aphrodite r. Rev. Lotus flower on two spiral tendrils. Traité II –, cf. 1252 (obol). BMC –, cf. pl. XIX, 5 (obol). Tziambazis –, cf. 45 (obol). Apparently unrecorded. Old cabinet tone, surface somewhat porous, otherwise very fine Privately purchased from Spink & Son in July 1981.
