Lindos.   Stater late 6th-early 5th century BC, AR 13.74 g. Lion's head r., with open jaws and tongue protruding, a tuft on forehead. Rev. Incuse rectangle, with irregular striations, divided horizontally by a band inscribed ΛΙΝΔΙ. ΒΜC 2 (this reverse die). Cahn, Knidos, G2 and pl. 11, G2.
