Perseus, 179 – 168.   Tetradrachm, Pella or Amphipolis circa 171-168, AR 17.02 g. Diademed head r., slightly bearded. Rev. ΒΑΣΙ – ΛΕΩΣ / ΠΕΡ – ΣΕΩΣ Eagle standing r. on thunderbolt, with open wings; above its head, in r. field and between its legs, monogram. The whole within wreath. Mamroth 21a. SNG Alpha Bank 1133 var. (monograms in different position).
Wonderful old cabinet tone and extremely fine
