Drachm, Alexandria 138-139 (year 2), Æ 23.49 g. AVT K T AIΛ AΔP ANTwNINOC EVCEB Bare-headed bust l. Rev. Sarapis seated l., holding sceptre; at his feet, Cerberus; to l., Demeter standing r., holding torch; to r., Tyche holding rudder and cornucopia; all wearing calathus, all on galley with oars; in exergue, LB. Dattari-Savio Pl. 148, 2862. SNG France 2130. RPC Online 15515. Extremely rare, only the third and by far the finest specimen known. Brown-green patina and good very fine From a private German collection and privately purchased before 2010.
