Description

Great Britain, Victoria, Stonehenge and Old Sarum, white metal medal by Bennett, Sarum, circa 1843, with views of Stonehenge (as it then appeared) and Old Sarum on each side, 50mm (B.H.M. 2129), extremely fine, in fitted case of issue, very rare; International Exhibition, 1862, bronze medal by Schnitzpahn and Wiener commemorating the late Prince Albert, ‘stamped in the building’ on an Uhlhorn Press, obv., head of Prince Albert left, rev., view of the Exhibition Hall, 41.2mm (B.H.M. 2745), good extremely fine, also in fitted case of issue; and coins (3), comprising shilling, 1889 large head and sixpences (2), 1889, 1896, the last deliberately scratched, generally extremely fine (5)
