Edward VI (1547-53), Second Period (Jan. 1549-April 1550), Tower I mint, half-sovereign, m.m. arrow, uncrowned bust right, SCVTVM FIDEI PROTEGET EVM, rosette stops, rev., King’s abbreviated titles with small square stops, crowned oval garnished shield with crowned E R at sides, 5.52g (Schneider 670; N. 1908; S. 2435), with a small flaw in obverse field and with a minor marginal striking crack at REX on reverse / 9 o’clock on obverse, good extremely fine and virtually as struck
