Sicily, Syracuse, decadrachm, c. 400 BC, signed by Euainetos, quadriga driven left with Nike flying above to crown the charioteer; in ex., on steps, a cuirass between two greaves and a helmet, rev., wreathed head of Arethusa left surrounded by four dolphins; below, ΕΥ-ΑΙΝ[Ε], 43.14g, die axis 9.00 (Gallatin R.VI/C.XIV; Dewing 893-5, same dies; SNG ANS 369, same dies), a few old marks, very fine
