King's South Africa, 1901-02, 2 clasps, South Africa 1901, South Africa 1902 (3894 Corpl: P. Crawley. 16th Lancers.), minor edge nick, toned, very fine Corporal F. Crawley served with the 16th (Queen’s) Lancers during the Second Boer War, with additional entitlement to a 4 clasp Q.S.A. He also appears to have served in the Great War with the 9th Battalion Essex Regiment, with whom he was killed in action on 3 July 1916.
