His name is commemorated on the Ploegsteert Memorial.Bandsman Arthur Henry Wathen served in the Great War with the 1st Battalion Somerset Light Infantry and was wounded and taken as a P.O.W. on 26 August 1914. He was later released and arrived at Leith on 12 December 1918.
