‡ Sicily, Siculo-Punic, Entella (?), tetradrachm c. 350-320 BC, fast quadriga driven right; above, Nike flying left crowning charioteer with wreath; in ex., Punic inscription RshMLQRT, rev., wreathed head of Tanit-Persephone right wearing triple-pendant earring and necklace; around, three dolphins, 17.24g, die axis 12.00 (Jenkins SNR 50, 47; SNG ANS 731, same dies; Jameson 598, same dies), light toning, extremely fine and perfectly centred Provenance: European Connoisseur collection (formed before 2002).
