‡ Sicily, Enna, bronze hemilitron, c. 350-344 BC, [ΔΑΜΑΗΡ], wreathed head of Demeter right, wearing pendent earring and necklace, rev., ΕΝΝΑ, filleted bull’s head facing slightly right; above, barley grain, 13.67g., die axis 1.00 (Laffaille (1982), 45 = Laffaille (1990), 136, this piece; Bank Leu 6 (Virzi) 105, same obverse die; SNG ANS 1335; Calciati 3; AMB 296), good very fine with a green patina, very rare Provenance: F.
