Tiberius III (698-705), solidus, Constantinople, bust facing holding spear and shield, rev., cross potent on three steps; officina B; in ex., CONOB, 4.46g (DO 1; S. 1360; MIB 1), tiny scratches on spear, tiny reverse flan flaw, otherwise extremely fine (same dies as next lot) Ex European Ambassador Collection, formed in the 1950s and 1960s.
