Marcian (450-457), solidus, Constantinople, 450, helmeted bust, facing with spear and shield, rev., VICTORI-A AVGGG S, Victory standing left holding long cross; in right field, star; in ex., CONOB, 4.35g (RIC 510; Depeyrot 87/1), good very fine Ex European Ambassador Collection, formed in the 1950s and 1960s.
