Thrace, Abdera, drachm, c. 470 BC, griffin seated left with raised foreleg; ΔΕΟ around top, rev., quadripartite incuse square, 3.15g (May 93; ACNAC Rosen 132), grey toned, about very fine Ex European Ambassador Collection, formed in the 1950s and 1960s.
