*Special Reserve Long Service, E.VII.R. (3805 Pte T. Smith. 3/E. Lanc: Regt), slight graze to rim at nine o’clock and some edge bruising, very fine thus, and rare Private T. Smith also appears to be entitled to a Queen’s South Africa Medal with clasp Cape Colony. This award is one of just 3 examples awarded to the Regiment.
