*Richard III (1483-85), penny, Durham mint, Bishop Sherwood, m.m. unclear, S on breast, D in centre of reverse, 0.77g (N. 1687; S. 2169), cardvs of obverse legend and upper part of S on breast visible, slight crease, about fine and scarce. Formerly ex Dr E. Burstal Collection.
The coin is offered as an issue of Edward IV, not Richard III (S. 2053).
