Atabegs of Khuzistan, Husam al-Din Ildeghizi, dinar, ‘Askar 503h (sic, for 553h), citing the Abbasid caliph al-Mustanjid and the two Great Seljuq brothers Arslan b. Tughril and Muhammad b. Tughril, 2.98g (Album 1921K RRR; cf Stephen Album Rare Coins auction 41, 16-19 September 2021, lot 517), good very fine and extremely rare. The name to the right of the obverse field, previously read tentatively as ‘Aydughdu’, is clearly legible as ‘Ildeghizi’ on this specimen.
