Walker. 3rd Bn Rifle Bde), service number additionally engraved; Army Long Service and Good Conduct, V.R., swivel-type suspension (875. Sgt Maj: F. Walker, 3rd Rifle Bde); Group loose, lightly toned, good very fine (3). Sergeant-Major F. Walker is confirmed on the I.G.S. and Indian Mutiny medal rolls as having served as a Private in the 3rd Battalion Rifle Brigade, with clasp entitlement as above. He later received the Army Long Service and Good Conduct Medal at the rank of Sergeant-Major.
