*A Sutlej, Punjab and Mutiny Trio awarded to Private James Mulligan 9th Lancers, Sutlej 1845-46, reverse Sobraon 1846, Punjab 1848-49, 2 clasps Chilianwala, Goojerat (James Mulligan 9th Lancers), Indian Mutiny 1857-59, single clasp, Delhi (Jas. Mulligan), first two scuffed and bruised, good fine to very fine (3). Roll confirms, sent from Delhi sick, 15 Aug. 1857.
