R.), lightly toned, suspension slightly loose, very fine and scarce. Sergeant H. P. Hawkins is confirmed on the Q.S.A. Medal Roll as having served with the 3rd Battalion with the above entitlement, with a note stating ‘invalided 23.6.00’. Further research shows that he served with ‘6’ Company, was previously a Farmer in Rangitikei, and that his next of kin was listed as Mr. E. B. Hawkins of Link Hall, Wiltshire.
