Description
East and West Africa, 1887-1900, in silver, single clasp, Benin 1897 (E. Marsden., H.M.S. S.t George.), lightly toned, good very fine. Private E. Marsden is confirmed in ‘The East and West Africa Medal 1887-1900 to the Royal Navy and Royal Marines’ by Paul G. Lane, as having served in the Royal Marines aboard H.M.S. St. George.
