*Egypt & Sudan, 1882-89, undated reverse, single clasp, El-Teb (J. Linaker, Gunr. R.M.A.), small blemishes in reverse exergue and upon edge, one or two small hairlines, about extremely fine. Gunner J. Linaker is confirmed on the Egypt & Sudan Medal Roll as having served with the Royal Marine Artillery. He appears to have died during, or shortly after this campaign, as the medal roll states that his medal was sent to his widow, Rachel Amelia Linaker, on 14 July 1886.
