Kushan Dynasty, Kanishka I (127-140 CE), Copper Tetradrachma, “MIOPO” (Sun God) type, Obv: the diademed king standing facing the left, holding a spear in his left hand and sacrificing over an altar on the left field, with flames on his right shoulder, the Bactrian legend "ÞAONANOÞAO KA-NHÞKI KOÞANO" (King of Kings, Kanishka the Kushan) around the field, Rev: the solar deity Mithra standing, nimbate, facing left, holding a sword hilt with the left hand, right hand outstretched in benediction, tamgha on the left field, the Bactrian legend "MIOPO" on the right field, with a dotted border around the field, 15.96g, 25.44mm, (Mitch. ACW # 3075-76/Jongward & Cribb # 421), choice very fine, Scarce.
