Kadambas of Goa, Jayakesin I (1050-1080 CE), Gold Gadyana, Obv: a mythical lion (Sardula) standing with its reverted head facing the left, its tail curled against its back and a front leg raised, the cyclic year in the Nagari legends in front of lion which is reads "Prajapati " and a Swastika symbol, Rev: the Nagari legend "Shri saptako/tisa labdhavaravi/ra jayakesi/deva Malava/ramari" in five lines, 4.18g, 19.88mm, (Mitch # 237 type), with almost complete details visible on both sides and a linear border surrounded by dots, about very fine, Very Rare.
